The 88th Texas Legislature appropriated revenue designated for a TRS retiree cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), but in order for the COLA to take effect, Texas voters will need to vote FOR a constitutional amendment authorizing the COLA in the upcoming election, Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
