Personal Information

My husband and I have been married for 18 years and we have three children. Our oldest son is a junior, our daughter is a freshman, and our youngest is in the 6th grade.  My husband is the high school principal in the same district. When we are not attending our own children’s events, you can usually find us watching our school kids’ events. We are active in our community and with our church. As a family we enjoy attending Texas Tech football games, skiing, and spending time at the beach. We cherish our Sunday family movie nights. We believe in giving back to the community and to the lives of our youth and being advocates for public education.

Platform Statement

Education is the foundation upon which our society is built and throughout my career I have dedicated myself to the betterment of public education.  I believe that the power of collaboration, supporting one another, and communication is the key to success in the educational environment and life in general.

I have thrived with the experiences and exposure that I have been afforded by being a TEPSA member and through holding different regional TEPSA offices. The experiences, training, and relationships that have been created have helped me become a stronger leader. It only seems fair for me to provide the same support with others across the state.

As the incoming Member-at-Large, I would be committed and honored to continue to be an advocate for public education locally, regionally, and at the state level. I would have the opportunity to collaborate with and support more of my fellow TEPSANS. I look forward to the chance to serve this great organization in a larger capacity.

It is always fun celebrating our students for their hard work and showing good character!

The SnackPak 4 Kids committee stuffs snack bags for our students to take home on the weekends. I am fortunate enough to be on this committee and see first hand the positive impact it makes on our students.

Thanksgiving lunch with guests is one of our favorite days. The food is delicious and the conversations are priceless!

It is always fun to dress up for the teachers and students. It is even more fun to show up in random places for laughs and surprises.

I am blessed with a the best supportive and loving family. I cherish my time with them!
