Personal Information

I have been married to my beautiful wife Jan for 18 years and we have a wonderful 13-year-old daughter Jayde. We spend most of our free time shuttling our daughter to and from a pool for swim practice or meets. We are also the proud parents of two boxers and enjoy spending time outside.

Platform Statement

For the past two years I have been TEPSA’s Region 5 President Elect and Region 5 President. I would be honored if you would consider voting for me as the next Vice President for TEPSA.

I have been in education for 22 years and most of my career as a classroom teacher and a coach. I feel that a title is not what makes a leader but the person is. Throughout my career I have held many different leadership positions and now I am seeking to be a State leader with TEPSA.

Having the privilege of working with the current State TEPSA leadership over the past two years has been a honor and I want to continue to contribute and help shine the positive light of Public Education in Texas. To me, TEPSA is one of the influential professional organizations school and district leaders can belong to. I feel that I have the right combination of positive energy and experience to help to continue to lead TEPSA in a positive way.

TEPSA is our voice for Elementary Leadership in Texas. I will help TEPSA to continue to grow, be impactful, and be our voice in Texas by always advocating for students, teachers, and school leaders.
